Founding Head of Sales — Commission-Only, Uncapped
Own the top of the funnel — protocol teams, DeFi projects, L1/L2 ecosystems, and exchange-affiliated portfolios — and turn relationships into audit revenue. A founder-facing role for an entrepreneurial closer who'd rather be paid for outcomes than activity: commission-only, uncapped, no ceiling. Also known as Business Development Lead / Head of BD. Full earnings structure shared on request.
What you'll do
- Source and reach out to projects launching new contracts, upgrading existing ones, or running without recent audit coverage.
- Run outbound across LinkedIn, Telegram, Discord, Twitter, and email, with a founder voice rather than generic SDR templates.
- Convert ecosystem relationships (engineering studios, RWA infrastructure, compliance vendors, risk advisory platforms) into embedded audit distribution channels.
- Show up at conferences, meet founders in person, then close on warm channels.
- Maintain a clean pipeline in Attio.
- Work directly with the founders on positioning, pricing, and deal structure.
- Feed market signal back into product, warranty design, and pricing.
You're a fit if you
- 2+ years of business development or sales experience in crypto, Web3, or cybersecurity.
- Understand how DeFi protocols actually work and can hold a credible technical conversation with a founder or CTO without bluffing.
- An active network of protocol teams, founders, VCs, or security researchers.
- Write tight outreach that gets replies.
- Can hold the "augment, don't replace" line when talking to established audit firms.
- Operate independently and move fast.
